Chronic Muscle Tension
30 Minute Muscle Therapy
This Muscle Therapy session is a focused 30-minute treatment designed to address a specific area of muscular tension. Ideal for those seeking targeted relief, this session allows your therapist to concentrate entirely on one problem area, such as the neck and shoulders, using tailored techniques to release tightness, restore mobility, and promote deep relaxation.
Perfect for busy schedules, this concise yet effective treatment delivers noticeable results in a short, restorative session.
Dry Cupping Therapy
Dry cupping therapy is a therapeutic technique used to relieve muscular tension, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing processes. The treatment involves placing specially designed cups on the skin to create a gentle vacuum.
Unlike traditional massage, which applies pressure downward into the muscles, cupping works by lifting and decompressing the tissue. This can help reduce stiffness, ease ongoing muscular discomfort, and improve mobility in areas affected by tension or restricted movement.
Treatments
60 Minute Muscle Therapy
This Muscle Therapy session is a comprehensive one-hour treatment designed to address multiple areas of muscular tension with a calm, attentive approach. This extended session allows your therapist to work across larger muscle groups, such as the full back, or focus on several areas of concern, including the back, hips, and legs. It is particularly well suited to those experiencing ongoing pain, stiffness, postural strain, or general muscular fatigue.
Your therapist will tailor the treatment to your individual needs, using a combination of therapeutic massage techniques to ease muscular tension, improve circulation, and support more comfortable movement.
Where clinically appropriate, your session may also incorporate acupuncture dry needling and dry cupping therapy.
Dry Needling Therapy
Dry needling is a specialised therapeutic technique used to treat muscular pain, stiffness, and movement restrictions. The treatment involves the use of very fine, sterile needles that are gently inserted into trigger points.
By targeting these trigger points, dry needling helps the muscle to release and reset, encouraging improved blood flow, reduced tension, and better overall muscle function.
